GLASS Ceramics was founded in 2017 in Brisbane, Australia.

The name GLASS comes from an acronym of all of our names. It seemed quite fitting as glass (silica) is the main ingredient in most glazes.

We are a family run hobby business. Making unique pottery pieces.

As with most families, there comes a time when someone wants to start a new hobby. This is truly a family hobby that grew from attending pottery lessons locally to building our own home studio that we could all potter in.

Graham is the family thrower, producing unique pieces on the wheel. Sarah is the trimmer, glazer, and all-round decorator. The kids are our photographers and best critics.

We have expanded from filling our families homes full of pieces, to filling our storage space and now you can be the owner of a GLASS ceramics piece.

At this moment, we don’t do commissions or multiple identical pieces as we are all about enjoying ourselves with clay.
